It belongs to a heavy duty melt filter cartridge. Some of the common metal pleated mesh filters are easily deformed, collapsed, cracked, and bulged. By adding an outer punched reinforced frame, the filter element is essentially upgraded from an ‘ordinary folded structure’ to a ‘high-strength compression-resistant depth filter structure’.
Compared with a normal metal mesh pleated polymer filter, the heavy-duty polymer melt filter cartridge has excellent compressive strength, pulse resistance, impact resistance, and deformation resistance, and is especially suitable for high-pressure polymer systems.
